Awesome staff, location and amenities! Having a rooftop bar and convenient restaurant downstairs was the best

The brightness and color of the rooms. They were always clean and tidy.

Centrally located. Very, very busy. Small rooms, but it's NYC. It is ok, if you get an acceptable rate, which we did. If not, The Edison isn't a good choice.

Staff were super helpful and kind!

Hotel overall was good. Room is a bit odd with the bathtub out in the open. Two things stuck out to me that would make me not stay here again. Outside the hotel was an immediate weed smell at all times. A group of people stood at the corner across from the hotel smoking blunts from early morning to late at night. It was a constant smell every time we left and came back to the property. I understand this is not something they can control, but it was not pleasant nonetheless. Second, I went to the continental breakfast to grab a cup of juice every morning to take my medications with. On the last day we checked out around noon and I was a little later than usual, and I went to do the same but I staff woman was there to stop me. I explained I just wanted to get some juice to take my pills and she said they were serving brunch now. Again I said I just want a cup of juice, and instead she offered to go get me water instead. I reiterated one last time I really needed juice to take my pills because I have so many. She just said oh ok and left it at that. I never got juice. For the price we paid to stay here, and the supposed 5 star rating, I would have very much appreciated if I could have just been able to go in and get a cup of juice from the bar. I felt like this barrier the woman created was really uncalled for and rude. Especially since it was because I needed to take medication. That experience alone is enough to turn me away for a next time.
